B&B Italia commissioned the Studio to provide art & design in numerous media for 200 East 20th Street, a new luxury condo tower in Gramercy Park designed by CetraRuddy. Our cork sculpture Scent Totem II was installed in the dramatic wood coffered lobby which contains icons from the B&B collection including: the Camaleonda sofa originally designed by Mario Bellini in 1970 and the Snoopy Lamp by brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni for Flos. Our Cosmic Bodies series was chosen for Penthouse B, part of the Aerie Penthouse Collection. Cosmic Bodies 03 is a work of oil, graphite and oil pastel on untreated Belgian linen hanging in the master bedroom suite. 01 and 02 are works on incised paper that have been infused with botanical oils and pastel, creating feelings of composure and contemplation in the study.
